The Armsel Striker was designed by a Rhodesian national, Hilton R. Walker, in 1981. Walker subsequently emigrated to South Africa, bringing with hyên ổn the kiến thiết for the Striker shotgun. His shotgun became a success, và was exported to various parts of the world. Even though it was successful, the shotgun still had its flaws. The rotary cylinder-type magazine was bulky, had a slow reload time, & the basic action was not without certain flaws.

Walker redesigned his weapon in 1989, removing the cylinder rotation mechanism, và adding an tự động cartridge ejection system. The new shotgun was named the Protecta.

A copy of the Striker was made by US gunmaker, Cobray và marketed as the SWD Street Sweeper from 1989 through 1993.

Design và features

The weapon"s action is similar to lớn that of a revolver, using a rotating magazine. Since the Striker uses a conventional double action only trigger và a very large và heavy cylinder (compared lớn handguns), Walker added a pre-wound clock-work spring lớn revolve sầu the magazine which proved to lớn make loading the weapon slow. The thiết kế was changed inkhổng lồ having a cocking lever on the right side of the barrel.

Phoenix (boat)

The Phoenix was a steamboat that was built in 1807 by John Stevens và his son, Robert L. Stevens, at Hoboken, New Jersey.

Phoenix was 50 feet (15 m) long, 12 feet (3.7 m) wide và 7 feet (2.1 m) deep. It had a single screw propeller, and had 25 cabin berths và additional 12 berths in steerage.

Originally built to sail from New Brunswiông chồng, New Jersey, to Thủ đô New York City, Phoenix became the first steamboat to lớn sail the open ocean, from Thủ đô New York khổng lồ Philadelphia, in June 1809. The reason for this journey was that the restrictions placed on Stevens by the Thành Phố New York steamboat monopoly held by Robert Fulton and Robert Livingston meant that he could not operate profitably. Stevens decided khổng lồ risk a journey over the open ocean so that he could operate on the Delaware River.

The journey was hazardous, and a schooner accompanying Phoenix was driven off by a storm. Phoenix made harbor at Barnegat, New Jersey, & after waiting several days for the storm lớn subside, eventually sailed around New Jersey và up the Delaware River.

Zombi (film series)

The Zombi series refers collectively to various European horror films that have sầu been falsely marketed as sequels khổng lồ either George A. Romero"s Italian-American film of the Dead (1978) or Lucio Fulci"s Italian film Zombi 2 (1979); the latter was itself falsely marketed as a sequel lớn the former. A confusing history has emerged from the practise of retitling films for release in different countries, in which a given film may have sầu a different title in each country in which it is released. In Britain, these films were released as the Zombie Flesh Eaters series. In North America, these same films became as the Zombie series.

For the European release of Romero"s of the Dead, the film was re-edited by Dario Argenkhổng lồ và re-scored by Goblin, & retitled Zombi. Following its success, a zombie film by Lucio Fulci that was already in production was retitled Zombi 2 to lớn appear as an ersatz sequel.
